Frisk appointed as new Director of Elections

David Frisk

Pinal County is pleased to announce the appointment of David Frisk as its new Director of Elections. Frisk began his role with the County on Monday.

David Frisk comes to Pinal County from Kitsap County in Washington, where he has served as Program Manager for the Elections Division since March 2018. Working for Kitsap County since 2015, a County with over 278,000 residents, David previously had the role of Administrative Manager for the County's Licensing and Recording Division. Before entering public service, he enjoyed a 25-year career in the Banking Sector.

Frisk will lead a team of five, focused on planning elections in Pinal County, ensuring they are secure, transparent, accessible, free, and fair elections that inspire public confidence in the election system.

Frisk will report to Deputy County Manager Himanshu Patel, and Patel commented on the appointment, "David's leadership and extensive election-related experience aligned very well with the County's needs. I look forward to David's leadership of and contribution to our Elections Department, which provides critical services for the citizens of Pinal County."

Meanwhile, David Frisk commented, "My family and I have been looking to relocate to Arizona for some time so I am thrilled to have this opportunity to join Pinal County and to serve all of the citizens of Pinal as the Elections Director. Free, Fair, and Secure elections are essential to the American way of life, and it is my honor to take on this responsibility."
